Merry Maids of Burlington: Proudly giving back to our local community
Caring for our community and our home
Being part of our local community is a big part of our business here at Merry Maids of Burlington. Any way we are able to give back or make a difference is important to us. Take a look at some of the local organizations we’ve had the privilege of showing our support for over the years.
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
Heart disease and stroke are still the number one causes of premature death in Canada. Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada has been committed to fighting heart disease and stroke for more than 60 years. The charitable organization aims to improve the health of Canadians by decreasing risk factors and reducing the death rate from heart disease, stroke and vascular cognitive impairment (VCI). Merry Maids of Burlington is honoured to support the inspirational work of both the regional Burlington office as well as the national organization.
Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Burlington
Supporting children, youth and families since 1953, Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Burlington exists to provide coordinated, complementary child welfare services. Working collaboratively with families, in 97% of cases, children remain with their families while the organization works alongside caregivers to strengthen their capacity to keep children safe and successful. Merry Maids of Burlington in honoured to be affiliated with Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Burlington and provides free home cleaning services to the non-profit in their Annual Serendipity Auction.

We’re Helping Raise The Roof
It’s no secret that we like to give back whenever we can, and recently we came across a cause we couldn’t ignore. The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, in collaboration with Raising The Roof and the Bridging The Gap Program, we sold toques in an effort to help the homeless. Cystic Fibrosis Canada
Founded in 1960, Cystic Fibrosis Canada is a national charitable not-for-profit corporation committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF). A fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults, Cystic Fibrosis Canada has committed $261 million in research and care since its establishment. In 2020, Merry Maids of Burlington was honoured to support the organization’s QUEST4CF campaign, a family friendly riddle-solving event, taking place to raise funds for the CF community.
